Engagement Locations: Laguna Beach, CA
I usually shoot engagements on the streets of downtown Laguna Beach or Table Rock Beach but this afternoon I wanted to look for something a little different and found it up Laguna Canyon Road at the Willow Canyon Park. We arrived right when they were closing and had the park all to our selves. Please contact Darnall Photography to schedule a consultation or to find out more about wedding and engagement packages. Love does not consist of gazing at each other, but in looking together in the same direction.

Eric and Danielle’s engagement shoot was amazing. We started off at the Red Phone Booth in downtown Laguna Beach and then headed South to Table Rock Beach. The sky was this rich dark blue color and Table Rock beach was all but empty, just us and the the pelicans.

Being an Orange County Wedding Photographer means I can shoot amazing engagement sessions all year long.

This has to be one of my favorite shots of the afternoon….. They were so relaxed and the lighting was perfect.

Beach Patrol by the true locals.

Sun Flare…….. I love this shot……

The waves were 5-6 that day so it made for some fun pics.

Thanks Eric & Danielle for an amazing afternoon…. I love my job………

Orange County Wedding Photographers have thousands of amazing areas to shoot but I love beach towns for my engagement back drops…..

Success in marriage does not come merely through finding the right mate, but through being the right mate.
Darnall Photography had the privilege and pleasure of shooting John and Jaisi’s wedding and reception. The Reception and wedding were coordinated by Amana at Kismet Event and Design. I shoot around 30+ weddings a year but there are few that stand out and this was one of them. While I was shooting the entertainment I looked at my second photographer and just smiled thinking I have the best job in the world. Jaisi and John’s families were warm and friendly and made us feel like one of the family. Here are a few highlight of the evening and I hope you enjoy viewing the images as much as I enjoyed shooting them.

Being a Laguna Beach Engagement Photographer, I always like shooting near the beach and this Engagement session turned out amazing. Heather and Scott were relaxed and really enjoyed the Shoot.

Diana & Miguel’s Engagement down in San Juan Capistrano, right next to the mission. Enjoy…..
This is my favorite shot.
This wedding season has been one my busiest and most rewarding. Kelley and John’s wedding was one of those days that everything just seemed to click. The Bride & Groom, all the wedding party and their immediate family were so generous and full of energy that I felt like I was part of the wedding not just shooting it.

The Wedding was at the Angeles National Golf Club.

The bride was beautiful and relaxed so taking amazing images of her was pretty effortless.

John and his crew were up for anything.

This is one my Favorites.

The Reception was at the La Canada Flintridge Country Club.

A little quiet time before the Grand Entrance.

Pimp my ride.

The La Canada Flintridge Country Club is an amazing venue with 180 degree view of the LA basin.

The guys making their Grand Entrance.

Their First Dance.

Her Bouquet of tiger lillies made a great back drop for a ring shot.

John and Kelley, thanks again for trusting me with your amazing wedding day images. Hope you love them.
This was a Sangeet I photographed at The Turnip Rose a few days before Chirag & Renu got married. There were 5 days of celebration 3 prayer nights, Sangeet, Wedding Ceremony and the Reception. The families from both sides were amazing friendly and accommodating.
While I was watching this amazing parade of singing and dancing I had to remind myself why I was there. It was one of the most entertaining evening I have ever had the privileged to photography.

I woke up in the morning and looked at my Google calendar and it said Polliwog Park engagement shoot. I’ve done a few engagement shoots in Manhattan Beach but never heard of Polliwog so I was a little apprehensive. I pulled up to the park early to wait for Kelley and John and was pleasantly surprised at how nice the park was. They have a Frisbee Golf course set up and all the people at the park seemed really friendly and relaxed. Kelley and John pulled up and they both had huge smiles and were really excited about the shoot which makes my job really easy.
While we were walking around the park taking some candid shots they told me how they met and how John proposed. Kelley and John met in high school. Kelley couldn’t resist John’s math skills and asked him to tutor her. Little did John know that Kelley didn’t need any help in math. In fact, Kelley was better at math than John was. Their tutoring sessions later involved lunch, dinners, and movies. After 7 years of great memories, John decided to pop the question. Picking the right time to propose was always the toughest for John. Instead, one night at home, John decided to ask Kelley to marry him. John realized that the perfect time to propose didn’t matter as long as it was with the right girl. And lastly, John getting down on one knee on the hardwood floors was no joke. Luckily Kelley answered immediately………”Yes”……

This is one of my favorites.
